NUSUKA - Organizing Greenlandic Businesses
Organization of Greenlandic Employers is a service organization for Greenlandic businesses.
NUSUKA works to shape policies and influence decision-making in a way that develops and protects members interests and contributes to the development and maintenance of an economy that promotes enterprise and productive employment. We represent our members interests to government, state agencies, the trade unions, other national interest groups and the general public.
NUSUKA constitutes as a direct and fully democratic organization for the member companies. A business becomes a member of NUSUKA by joining directly and thereby gaining the maximum influence. We build networks for all. Please take a look at the member businesses.
Our Vision for Greenland is based on the belief that - through fair competition - we will achieve the economic growth necessary to improve living standards to the benefit of all citizens and to promote independence.
NUSUKA was established as an unified organization to represent and promote the views of employers. A wide representation in all levels puts us in a strong position as the voice of Greenlandic business.

Co-operation between Iceland and Greenland
Icelandic employers organisation, SA, and Greenland employers association NUSUKA have joined forces. Greenlandic employers say combining forces will contribute to a greater internationalisation of the country's workforce.
'Our co-operation agreement is an important step forward for our business sectors, and it is our aim to promote a closer working relationship,' said Ole Aggo Markussen, head of NUSAKA, which primarily represents native Greenlandic business owners.
The deal moves NUSAKA directly onto the international scene as an independent agency.
'We are especially looking forward to holding our first joint meeting so the members of our respective organisations can get together and exchange ideas and explore new business opportunities,' said Markussen.
The main aim of the deal is to promote a closer working relationship between the two countries. It will allow Iceland and Greenland to establish and develop mutual trade practices and develop inter-business relationships.
NUSUKA's members expect to be able to use the agreement as an opportunity to increase and improve their abilities through exchanges with Icelandic businesses. Doing so will allow NUSUKA to draw on SA's trading experiences with EU and the rest of the world.
